Bobinsana Calliandra is a relative of the Mimosa tree and is a bush that grows in South America along the riversides in the jungle. It grows beautiful pink flowers all year round that open up for a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon. It's used by various tribes for its medicinal and spiritual benefits. In the Shipibo tradition it's considered a master or teacher plant and it's used for healing and to do diets with. One can work with the Bobinsana outside of a diet as well, but with the more respect and intention we are connecting to her, the more she will open.
The Bobinsana is used on the spiritual and emotional level to:
- Open the heart for unconditional (self)love
- Grow in compassion
- Heal trauma, heartbreak and grief
- Receive clearer guidance from the spirit realm
- Have more vivid or lucid dreams
- Open up beauty and creativity
Also, Bobinsana holds an enormous potential for spiritual growth, heart opening and connecting and surrendering to the divine.
In Peru they say that on the physical level it's used to/ works as a
- Heal rheumatism and arthritis.
- Anti-inflammatory, anti-cancerous, depurative, diuretic
- Tonifieer
- Cleaning and healing the womb
And though not scientifically proven it's used as a contraceptive as well, so if you're opening for pregnancy this is not the plant to work with.
For those who still carry un-cried tears in their hearts.
