Ashes from the bark of the Tsunu tree from the Amazones. This is the tree traditionally used in the Yawanawa and other tribes for the Rapé. It's said the the Tsunu is a tree to awakend the spiritual potential. The ashes are very alkaline, which creates a burning sensation when blown in the nose and which allows the other plants to be better absorbed. When we would like our Rapé to be a bit more 'sharp', we can add some more Tsunu to the blend.
